That afternoon, Dr. SeongYong Park, President of Culture Masters, and special advisor In-Hye Hwang paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Young-Gull Kwon, Chief Commissioner of the Presidential Commission on Architecture Policy, at its office in Saemunan-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul. The meeting served as a platform for discussing shared interests in culture, heritage, and urban development.
The Presidential Commission on Architecture Policy, chaired at vice-premier level, is a key governmental policymaking body composed of ministers from 11 major ministries, including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. During the meeting, Dr. Park introduced the upcoming World Intangible Heritage Invitational Performance and Forum (IP-WIN 2025), scheduled to take place in Suwon this October, as well as the broader vision of the WIN Project, including PRE-WIN 2026 and WIN 2028. He emphasized the vital role of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) in shaping sustainable, creative, and resilient cities.
Chief Commissioner Kwon shared profound insights into the significance of spiritual culture and intangible heritage in fostering social identity and civic development. He expressed strong support for the vision of the WIN Project and its potential integration into national policy frameworks.
